A Wait-Free Dinner at The Bristol this New Year’s Eve

Just about the only thing that can deter us from chef Chris Pandel’s near-miraculous meat presentations at The Bristol is swinging by on a going-out-for-dinner night and finding the wait for a table a dozen parties deep. Manager John Ross has assured us many a time that he’ll never give in and take reservations (and we see where he’s coming from, really we do, it’d undermine a lot of the casual charm of the place), but they’re making one, lone, singular exception on New Years Eve for some pre-midnight revelry, taking reservations for seatings ranging from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m, with a prix fixe menu. First Course:
