What to Eat at The Regal Beagle, Opening Tomorrow in Coolidge Corner

The Regal Beagle, a “neighborhood bistro” from the folks behind Church, will open in the old Takeshima space in Coolidge Corner tomorrow. Laura Henry-Zoubir, most recently seen at Andover’s Lanam Club, is helming the kitchen and the menu focuses on “creative comfort food” like lamb chops with an almond and goat cheese crust. Sure, this isn’t much different than fall’s other big openings, but anything that’s not sushi or burritos is a pretty exciting development for Coolidge Corner. The Regal Beagle will serve lunch, dinner, and brunch.
