Closings

TWO, Miette, Others Closing as Year Ends

As we noted last week, TWO had its final night of service Friday. You’ll also surely recall that Restaurant Eloise has announced plans to close at the end of the month. Today, Eater brings word of two more closures, one planned and one done: It seems B’s BBQ never did return from its abrupt “vacation” earlier this year, and now a “for lease” sign has appeared in the window. In addition, rumors are swirling that Miette Patisserie will close two of its San Francisco shops by the end of the year, one on Octavia Street and one on Chestnut Street. Fortunately, however, Miette isn’t in a bad way. With a big new shop planned for Jack London Square soon, the hypothesis is that they’re planning to reconfigure, rather than simply shutter, the two San Francisco shops. We’ll keep an eye out.
