Looks like the sister of London restaurant Le Caprice (where Elton John and Victoria Beckham are regulars and the wait for a reservation is said to be three months) is giving Monkey Bar some competition in the realm of midtown exclusivity. A Post reporter has this sob story: “I was turned away at 6 p.m. on a Monday night, with the excuse that reservations were mandatory, and that the restaurant was fully booked. (It was, in fact, completely empty.)” [NYP]
