Super 88 Pinkberry knockoff Yo! Berry is no longer. Yo! Berry was the first major fro-yo-erie to open in Boston and now, it will be the first to close. Could this be the beginning of a Boston fro-yo backlash? Fro-yo shops opened in New York well before Boston and they’ve been dropping like flies for the past year (this week alone, GSNY has had news of three!). Boston is a major league ice cream town and we’re not sure a city this cold can sustain a market for two frozen treats. What do you think? Is Yo! Berry’s closing an isolated incident or the beginning of a backlash?
