Win a Signed Copy of Keller’s Ad Hoc at Home

Ad Hoc at Home

As most everyone who gives a hoot about eating in L.A. knows, chef Thomas Keller is hanging around town in preparation for Bouchon Beverly Hills’ grand opening next week. Spending a little time out of the kitchen, he’s also hawking his new comfort cookbook Ad Hoc at Home today from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Santa Monica’s Williams Sonoma (1600 Montana Ave.), where he will sign copies of the heavy tome. Can’t make it today? No problem. We’re giving one lucky Grub Street L.A. reader their own signed copy for free, a value of $50.00 even before Keller places his pen to the page.

To win this single singed copy of Keller’s book, we want to hear about your biggest kitchen disaster while you attempted to cook someone else’s recipe, in 200 words or less. Send your tale of kitchen woe to us via email before this Friday at 5:00 p.m. The entries will be submitted to Grub Street’s market editors who will determine their favorite and a winner will be announced next Monday. See our official rules here and thanks for playing.
