La Canada’s Chocolate Box Café is setting up shop in Malibu this month. This second location for the gourmet chocolate maker will be a full-service café at Malibu’s Lumber Yard. The shop will display its edibles as if it was a high-end jewelry boutique and will have a full menu of sandwiches and salads to complement purchases of its artisan chocolate. There is even a hot chocolate bar where visitors can choose between 12 varieties like chili pepper and ginger, all made from actual chocolate shavings. Chocolate Box Cafe will have a grand opening celebration from 1-3 p.m. on November 22nd open to the public. 3939 Cross Creek Rd. Malibu, CA 90265.
