La Creperie’s Jimmy Murray will open Canteen, a restaurant that strives to bring “the ingredients from fine dining to fast food” on the same Mass Ave block as Garden at the Cellar. Canteen will serve up breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as as ice cream and, unsurprisingly, given Murray’s background, dessert crepes, all according to Slow Food principles. For those of you following along at home, that makes two Slow Food-esque restaurants on the same block. Canteen is set to open on January 25.
