Woodward, the Seth Greenberg-backed restaurant coming to the Ames Hotel, is shaping up to be quite the drinking destination. Nationally renowned mixologist John Lermayer, best known for his work at The Florida Room in Miami’s Delano Hotel, will develop the cocktail program alongside local legend William “English Bill” Codman of spots like No. 9 Park, reports drinkboston. Woodward spokesperson Nicole Russo tells us that Lermayer will stay on at Woodward for at least a month after launch, after which Codman will man the fort.

Woodward’s wine and beer lists are coming along nicely as well. The restaurant will offer a dozen wines by the glass, half-carafe, and carafe, as well as a hundred by the bottle. The most exciting development, however, may well be in the beer department. Smuttynose has created an ale just for the restaurant! Woodward Ale will be available by both the glass and the growler. Woodward is slated to open on November 18.
