Grub Street San Francisco Photo Intern

Commitment Required: Semester
Compensation: School Credit Only
Job Description: Working closely with the Grub Street San Francisco editor,
• Take, edit, and upload photos of food, exteriors, etc. from San Francisco restaurants
• Liaise with the Grub Street San Francisco editor and restaurateurs, chefs, and publicists to schedule photo shoots
• Provide photographic coverage for San Francisco food events
• Assist with the production of slideshows
Job Requirements:
• Excellent photojournalism skills, particularly food photography and portraiture
• Access to own photo equipment (digital camera, lights, tripod)
• Demonstrated competence with PhotoShop or similar photo editing software
• Access to a reliable Internet connection
• Ability to work 5-10 hours per week, including some evening events
• Ability to upload photos soon after taking them
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• 21+ preferred
