In a remarkably straightforward twist on the whole bringing street food indoors trend, Wave is rolling a cart into the middle of the dining room. In a promotion they’re calling The Streets @ Wave, chef Kristine Subido’s team will prepare street fare from a rotating series of cuisines on Wednesday nights. Kicking off the program is Vietnam, and starting at the end of November the country of origin will change monthly (December will be Thailand, January is Morocco, Israel in February, India in March, and China in April). $10 gets you a cocktail plus a choice of three plates. Here’s what’s on the table this month:

The Streets @ Wave, October/November

Grilled Lemon Grass Beef rice paper rolls with peanut and sweet chili sauce
BBQ Chicken Bhan Mi with spicy mayo and pickled radish
Crispy Taro spring roll
Grilled Seafood Sausage with chili mayo and herb salad
Crispy Tilapia Lettuce Wrap with black pepper caramel

Cocktail: “Hoi An 42” a blend of 42 Below vodka, lemon grass, simple syrup &
mint
