Cocktail goods emporium The Boston Shaker is moving to Davis Square, reports Boston on the Go. Owner Adam Lantheaume tells Grub Street that the new shop, located at 69 Holland Street, is a major size upgrade (450 square feet as opposed to the current location’s 36 square feet) and he plans to utilize it all with an expanded book selection, more and better glassware, a reference library, and a (sadly, non-serving) bar for customers to sit at as they peruse the books.
The new store’s basement has tons of room for storage, which will allow Lantheaume to beef up The Boston Shaker’s online store. Though Lanthaume’s lease on the Union Square shop runs out on November 1, it will be fully operational until then and he hopes to open in Davis a few days later.
