Sasso has closed to make way for Lucca Back Bay, reports Boston Restaurant Talk. This is not a major change: Sasso was owned by the same folks as the North End’s Lucca and manager Natasha Shibko tells Grub Street that Sasso was shuttered to focus on expanding the Lucca brand. Sasso chef Anthony Mazzotta remains in charge of the kitchen and changes to the menu have been largely seasonal in nature. Lucca Back Bay is now open.
