Michelin inspectors added 18 local picks to their Bib Gourmand category in the 2010 San Francisco restaurant guide. That’s the value category for restaurants that serve a meal — defined as two dishes, a glass of wine, and dessert — for $40 or less. The new picks were a mix of new and existing restaurants, including FIVE, Flour + Water, Dosa, Brown Sugar Kitchen, and Pican (full list below). The full Michelin guide is due out Oct. 20, but office betting pools are open now.
