Maui’s Only Microbrewery Hits Hudson House Next Monday

Next Monday, Brooke Williamson and Nick Roberts, the married chef/owners of Marina del Rey’s Beechwood, will prepare a special mahalo menu to pair with beers from Maui Brewing House, one of Hawaii’s few microbreweries. It seems appropriate to host the dinner at the couples’ new Redondo Beach gastro pub, Hudson House, with the South Bay’s strong connections to Pacific Island culture and the Pacific itself right across the street. The $45 four-course dinner will pair coconut porter with paprika-smoked Mahi-Mahi and coconut-brown sugar pork ribs, as well as lager steamed clams with Bikini Blonde Lager, among other items you can see on the full menu below. Maui Brew Co., the island’s only microbrewery, is dedicated to hand-crafted ales and sustainability down to its recycled cans and solar panels. Reservations are required at (310) 798-9183.
