Now that Butcher & Singer has kicked its burger price up from $5.95 to a (still entirely reasonable) $9.95, where can you get an extra-large serving of beef for lunch for close to five bucks? The Kibitz Room on Locust Street has taken up the meaty mantle, offering a half-pound corned beef sandwich for $4.95 throughout October; the sandwich usually goes for $10.
