Poutine, the delicious Montreal delicacy of fries, cheese curds, and gravy, is available at four Boston-area restaurants and local blogger The Food Monkey has tried each of them, enjoying the poutines at All Star Sandwich Bar, Beehive, Gargoyles On The Square, and Harvest.
That’s all well and good, but what of Montreal’s other regional delicacies? Newton’s Walnut Market imports wood-fired bagels and smoked meat from Montreal, but when will a Boston restaurant start serving pigs’ legs stew or Montreal-style barbecue?
