Despite the shuttering of Gourmet magazine and the impending burger boutique explosion, rumors of culinary luxury’s demise are much ado about nothing. Exhibit A: white truffles in the house, yo. Hot off the Twitter feeds from Spiaggia chef di cucina Sarah Grueneberg:
“Fresh Italian White truffles available now at Spiaggia! Come try spaghetti alla chitarra with brown butter, Parmigiano, and white truffles.”
No word on whether a certain President will be dropping by his favorite restaurant soon, but it certainly sounds like a worthy dish to celebrate the Nobel Prize over.
