The Next Iron Chef, starring Jose Garces as one of the ten contestants, debuts on Sunday, October 4 at 9 p.m. on the Food Network, but if you have $35 and a phone, you can watch it with the chef at his University City restaurant Distrito. They’re hosting a viewing party from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.; the $35 includes “plentiful passed hors d’oeuvres, house and frozen margaritas, and cans of Tecate,” tax and tip are extra.
