Santa Rosa’s Upper Fourth hosted its last batch of downtown partiers Saturday, then surprised many in the hair-of-the-dog crowd by staying closed Sunday, and for good. According to the Press Democrat’s Bite Club blog, a “teary waitress” let the news slip to a patron that Saturday would be the last night. Apparently owner Molly Gallaher plans on getting into “something new” but she hasn’t shared any details as to what. Meanwhile, regulars are going to have to find a new place where friends meet and spirits soar. [Press Democrat]
