Sam Nazarian’s S.B.E. reopened their Foxtail space as Mi-6 this week, naming the three-story West Hollywood nightclub for the British intelligence agency that employs James Bond. The sleek new club pulls Nazarian back into the exclusive night life genre that first found us speaking his name. He tells The L.A. Times today, “I stepped away from night life for three years. Now I’m ready to take the L.A. club scene to yet another level of sophistication.” The club comes outfitted, head to toe, in LED and dark mirrors that transform to video screens, so leave your seizure-prone friends at home next time you thirst for a gazillion dollar bottle of Grey Goose. A celebrity crowd crammed this week’s opening party, while scuzz-master general and Girls Gone Wild auteur Joe Francis was booted by security for trying to force yet another entrance into a Hollywood newcomer. Mi-6 is located at 9077 Santa Monica Blvd., (323) 655-8000, open from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
