A Chinese farmer has found a way to mold growing fruit into the shape of a baby, Reuters reports. Inspired by a book, which features a baby-shaped fruit that offers eternal life if eaten, the farmer has been selling them for $7 a pop and is hoping to “cater to Western tastes by growing pears in the shape of Biblical characters and screen legend Charlie Chaplin.” We’re not sure if we’re terrified of these or love them, but either way, we think dressing up as a giant baby-shaped pear would make a great Halloween costume.
