Radius owner and perpetual optimist Michael Schlow could be opening a Washington, D.C. restaurant, reports Washingtonian. This rumor dovetails nicely with a June interview from Schlow wherein he suggested that he could open a third branch of Wellesley-based Alta Strada in New York or D.C. When we called Schlow’s spokesperson Erika Martineau for comment, she told us that “he’s definitely thinking about opening, but the concept and location aren’t set yet.There are no leases.” In other Michael Schlow news, the genial chef will prepare meatballs on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Friday.
