Morgan Harbor Grill, Dolce, And Knock Box Cafe Open

As we officially enter Fall restaurant-opening madness (there are at least thirty openings on our radar before 2010 hits), a few that have already opened their doors. The Devon Avenue Good Morgan Kosher Fish Market opened a sit-down restaurant offshoot, Morgan Harbor Grill, the Reader notes. The restaurant is kosher and BYO, and chef Erik Williams (a vet of Volo and Bin 36) serving up such intriguing creations as gefilte fish and basil gnocchi and huachinango for two. Speaking of intriguing creations, the Reader also points us to Dolce, a Filipino-Italian restaurant serving (for now) a limited menu of one appetizer and one entree for $14.95. On the more casual end of things, Gapers Block takes note of the newly opened Knock Box Cafe, a Humboldt Park coffee-and-sandwich shop that serves Metropolis Coffee and bakes its cookies fresh. Mmm.
