Caffeine just got hipper with the announcement that Filter, the Wicker Park coffee shop beloved by hipsters, skaters, and their ilk, will be reopening on or about October 1 at a new location: 1373-75 N. Milwaukee Ave. Owners Jeff Linnane and Jeff Stella won’t be deviating from their old formula of a user-friendly living room feel, plus they’re going green(er) with recycled materials, energy-efficient appliances, and a planned in-house reduced-emissions bean roastery.
