While we scramble for valet tickets and phone numbers shortly before 2 a.m., our New York nightlife counterparts are still rocking out, with nary a threat of having to go home before morning birds emerge with the sunlight. This Saturday, El Cid restaurant is providing Angelenos that strange experience of drinking and dancing during daylight hours at a new party called Adult Contemporary Disco. El Cid will start serving specials on Spanish and Mexican food, plus drinks at 2 p.m., inviting you for a cover-less day of dancing that will end at 8:00 p.m. to accommodate their famous flamenco shows. There will be both indoor and outdoor space for adults to do the jerk, fortunately with no adult contemporary tunes, but alongside frequent Downtown Standard and La Cita selector DJ Pubes, among others. Adult Contemporary Disco starts this Saturday at 2 p.m. at El Cid, 4212 Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood.
