Dunkin’ Donuts Under Heat

A Quincy Dunkin’ Donuts is being sued by two parents who charge that a “dangerously hot” hash brown from the store burned their toddler son, reports the Herald. Mother Robin MacLeod says she tested the temperature of the outside of the hash brown with her finger and, finding it lukewarm, passed it along to her 23 month old son Cullen. MacLeod claims that, despite the outside’s mild temperature, the inside seriously burned Cullen’s neck when he dropped it. The takeaway here: always let your food cool down for a minute before taking a bite.
