In case you’re a fan and didn’t already know, David Lebovitz is in San Francisco right now. He got by Humphry Slocombe (but seems to have misunderstood Secret Breakfast) last week and had his favorite burger ever at Nopa on Friday. He’s been doing some appearances to promote and sign copies of The Sweet Life as well, the last one of which will be at Omnivore Books tonight from 6 to 7 p.m. If you’re just in it for the desserts, or are being dragged along, you can look forward to samples from Poco Dolce chocolates.
