Baker’s Best Is Thinking Zack Morris

Newton cafe Baker’s Best has a curious new approach to marketing. The restaurant is christening weekdays from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. “Study Break” and offering discounts to Newton South and Boston College students. Their hope? To become Newton’s own counterpart to Saved by the Bell’s The Max, because, as their press release states, “in a perfect world, everyone would have an afterschool hangout like those spoiled kids from Saved by the Bell.” We certainly hope this means they’ll be hosting fashion shows and showing off the magic tricks of the restaurant’s proprietor.
