Yesterday our colleague Leila, in Boston, passed around a bottle of new Absolut Boston vodka. The stuff is flavored with tea and elderflower in some convoluted nod to the Boston Tea Party, and the bottle apparently rants about some Beantown stadium. There’s also an Absolut Los Angeles, which appears to be flavored with stage lights and 35mm film. They haven’t made an Absolut San Francisco yet, and we have to wonder what would be in it if they did. We wish they’d jam in some crab roe and tomatoes for a cioppino tinge, but they’ll probably just make it grape flavored and mumble something about wine country. What do you think it should be?
