Yesterday we noted the proliferation of “Burgervertising” — using a glamour shot of a hamburger to sell your magazine, your restaurant, whatever. (We were guilty of this all the way back in 2007.) The August issue of Texas Monthly pays homage to the state’s “50 Best Burgers” and even suggests that the American favorite was born in a town called Athens. No matter. Texas’s 50 look delicious, and many even cost less than $10. But we’ve still got more.
