It’s an action-packed weekend, starting with a maniacal anniversary party at the Grey Lodge Pub in the Great Northeast. That’s right, the Great Northeast!

• Grey Lodge, the storied beer oasis in Northeast Philly, is celebrating its 13th anniversary of, as they put it, “giving Northeast haters a little less to hate since 1996” with a madcap collection of 13 events spread over 13 hours on Saturday, August 15. Here is a full list of the beer-centric celebrations, including a Bar Mitzvah (get it?), but we’d suggest the Dock Street Triskaidekaphilia Ente Wurst Breakfast, which starts at 11 a.m., wherein you’ll receive a 1/2 liter of Dock Street Triskaidekaphilia Dunkel Weisse, a 1/4 pound sausage, and a Philly soft pretzel for $8. Triskaidekaphilia is, of course, the special beer they had brewed up for their big celebration.

Devil’s Den is keeping the beer “sour, tart and funky” with their first annual Sour Fest on Saturday August 15. Check out all manner of sour beers, from lambics, geuzes, berlinwer weisses and more all day at the South Philly spot.

• On Sunday, chef Mitch Prensky hosts his monthly $38 prix-fixe, family-style dinner Sunday Supper at Supper. Reservations are recommended and if you’re interested, you can shop with the chef for the dinner at the Headhouse Farmers’ Market for a supplemental $20 fee, with some of the proceeds donated to the Food Trust.
