Urban Farming Show Takes a Cue From Chez Panisse

The third season of Sundance’s Big Ideas for a Small Planet includes an episode called “Edibles” (airing next Tuesday, August 18), which focuses on how food production works on the environment. The corral of commentators includes Katrina Heron from the Chez Panisse Foundation, and Jules Dervaes, an urban homesteader from Pasadena. We haven’t actually seen the episode, but it sounds a little like a less scary, more bite-sized version of Food Inc. Get a look at Dervaes’ farm in the clip below.
