It’s Thursday and it’s August and it’s gross. Why not treat yourself to not one, but two happy hours, conveniently spaced out to give you plenty of time to enjoy each one? First, Rittenhouse’s Snackbar has a new “5 to 7 from 5 to 7” happy hour has bellinis and glasses of house red or white for $5 and an assortment of bar snacks for $5 to $7 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Over at Headhouse Square from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., Xochitl offers a “staff meal” in the downstairs lounge where you can order anything from their late-night menu at half price and take advantage of a 10 p.m. to midnight happy hour with half-price house margaritas; $2 beers, plus a shot of Sauza Blanco with a can of Tecate for $6. Now if only someone would have a happy hour from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., our work here would be done.
