The Gage Wins A Possibly Meaningless Wine Award

Mazel Tov to The Gage, a restaurant with an admittedly excellent wine list, which has been given an Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator magazine. This award is given to a restaurant whose wine list is interesting, appropriate, and creative — and, we feel the need to note, was implied to be a little bit of a racket by the New York Times, and was once epically punked when a wine critic entered a fake restaurant loaded with horrible wines, and still won.
