SPQR will be importing a chef from Los Angeles to take over its kitchen in the wake of Nate Appleman, Chris Behr, and Huw Thornton’s departure. Scoop has it that Craft chef de cuisine Matthew Accarrino is going to be heading north to fill the vacancy after an intense vetting process. While he may be an Angelino now, Accarrino has worked in Italy, as well as at Per Se, Craftsteak, and Craftbar in New York. His own menu will debut at the end of September after the restaurant closes for its reboot.
