Three years after burning down from an electrical fire, Manhattan Beach’s Old Venice restaurant re-opened yesterday. Run hands-on by the Hantzarides family, the Greek-Italian restaurant’s revival is a testament to family bonds, occurring roughly a year after Jimmy, the family patriarch and restaurant’s founder, was struck by a car and killed while biking.
