We like Guy Fieri a whole lot more since he started showing love to our local obsessions on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. He recently let Polka, Glendale’s superb Polish restaurant, take the pierogi’s share of an episode on family restaurants run by mothers. Now a local headbanger, Steve Gaines of Anger as Art, tells us an upcoming episode will feature Mom’s Tamales in Lincoln Heights. The restaurant confirms a camera crew recently filmed their handmade tamale-making sessions, so set your TiVo to record at 10 or 10:30 p.m. on The Food Network come September 7th.
