There was some degree of doubt as to whether Mario Batali would ever be invited back to a Lee Schrager production when, seemingly sauced, he unloaded some F-bombs in front of the king and queen of Spain (and, let’s not forget, Julio Iglesias) at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Schrager, for one, told “Page Six” he was “disappointed and embarrassed” by the incident (and no doubt secretly pleased by all the publicity it got). But it looks like the wounds have healed, because we’re told that just this morning, Batali confirmed he’ll do a Times Talk at the New York City Wine & Food Festival on October 10. Tickets have yet to hit the festival’s website, but stay tuned.
