The forthcoming W Hotel Boston will house Market by Jean-Georges, a casual restaurant from Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Market, currently hiring on Craigslist, already has locations in Atlanta, Cabo San Lucas, Qatar and Vancouver and serves dishes in Vongerichten’s signature style: French techniques with some Asian flavors. Think red snapper with black beans, avocado, sake, and ginger or slow-cooked salmon with cherry tomatoes in a miso-yuzu broth. Just don’t expect to see Vongerichten in the kitchen: Market is one of over twenty restaurants in the Jean-Georges brand and he spends most of his time in New York.
