At least three recent chef shuffles have made the city a veritable maze of culinary careers lately. Tablehopper has the scoop: Over at Weird Fish, Gramercy Tavern and St. John vet Alex Jackson will take over the kitchen, debuting a new menu August 17. Meanwhile former Slow Club/Serpentine chef Chris Kronner will be taking over for Jason Fox at Bar Tartine, planning a menu with a “more approachable and simpler style.” Finally, William Pilz is out at Citizen Cake as Elizabeth Falkner updates the menu to a lower-priced, more “easygoing” style.
