Benjamin Knack has returned to the Frank McClelland family. The former L’Espalier chef is now head chef de cuisine at Sel De La Terre’s State Street location, according to spokesperson Maryanne Keeney. Knack, who has worked in both the sweet and savory sides of the food world, preceded Jason Bond as Beacon Hill Bistro’s chef. At Sel De La Terre, Knack replaces BJ Salazar, who has moved to New York.
