L.A. has some truly classic sandwiches. I’m not talking about the french dips downtown or the pastrami at Langer’s, but the cemitas poblanas and banh mi poking out of our discreet corners.
Follow Food GPS on their bike trip through The Valley as they break down three distinct destinations: Sandwich Express for pork pate banh mi, a renowned Jersey-imported chili dog at Fab Hot Dogs, and an adobada cemita at Don Adrian’s, which has only three tables. Then they finished things off with some good Thai sweetness at North Hollywood’s Cha Chaa. Don’t be surprised if the freeways look extra packed come lunchtime.
