Tin Roof Bistro was revealed to the public last Monday by the team behind Manhattan Beach’s burger joint Simmzy’s, and Food GPS took photos over dinner. The food goes much further than burgers this time, with wood-fired pizzas, seafood, premium chops, and small plates of skirt steak lollipops and Chenel chevre with honey and pine nuts marching out of Chef Anne Conness’ kitchen. The self-described wine bistro sports a massive grape selection, including over 40 wines by the glass, plus rotating nightly specials like parmesan puff pastry crust chicken pot pie on Comfort Mondays and steamed mussels frites in curried broth come Take It Easy Tuesdays. And yes, the Simmzy’s burger has made the massive menu too.
