A group of Leather District residents want the South Street Diner to shutter at 2 a.m. nightly, putting the famed diner’s 24 hour status in jeopardy. Fortunately, you can help. In an email to the Beantown Bloggery, the diner reports that there will be a hearing on its closing time at 10 this morning in City Hall Room 809A. South Street is one of only four restaurants in the city open 24 hours, so if you care about the future of late-night dining (or, conversely, if you hate it), get to City Hall.
