Craig LaBan serves up two not-especially-enthusiastic bells for Wash West steakhouse Union Trust. Bell-wise, this places it smack in the middle of the crop of steakhouses-in-former-banks - one bell more than its bitter rival Del Frisco’s, but one bell less than Starr’s retro chophouse Butcher & Singer.
Meanwhile, Rick Nichols hits up SquareBurger and calls the cheeseburger a “thing of beauty” that’s ” out easily on a par with - or better than - most Goodburger and Five Guys burgers.”
