M, the minimally-named restaurant at the Morris House Hotel, reopens today, reports the Inquirer. In its previous incarnation, Restaurant M was cheffed by Meme’s David Katz; despite receiving solid reviews for the food and raves for its quaint hidden garden, it shuttered for good in June 2007. Not long after, restaurateur and locally famous tax delinquent Neil Stein announced he was planning a nightspot called Cabaret for the space, but apparently that fell through. The new version, just called M, will focus more on drinks than fine dining and will be open Sunday through Thursday. [The Insider]
