As Daily Intel points out, Google has launched a new feature called “Favorite Places,” which compliments our own Celebrity Settings in telling you where the rich and famous hang out. Of note: Mayor Bloomberg likes the Italian restaurants on Arthur Avenue and used to take dates on the Staten Island Ferry; Penny Glazier of the Glazier Group gives a shout-out to Kossar’s Bialys, Sant Ambroeus, and Michael Jordan’s the Steak House; Danny Meyer, on the other hand, resists plugging himself and recommends Casa Mono, Yakitori Torys, Jack’s Restaurant and Bar, and Sparks (“New York like it always was and hopefully always will be”); and Masaharu Morimoto likes Café Zaiya, Top Tunes for karaoke, and Gahm Mi Oak for an after-work bite. Plus: Comedians Michael Showalter and Michael Ian Black tell Daily Intel about their favorite meals (at Noodle Pudding and Gramercy Tavern, respectively).
