It’s hard to get excited about a simple ice-cream cone after Gael Greene has a veritable Twittergasm about the triple-chocolate caramel chipwich at Gus & Gabriel, but FYI: Store brand Blue Bunny is giving out 50,000 cones at the corner of 50th Street and Seventh Avenue, today through Thursday beginning at noon. Funny enough, Baskin Robbins is also giving out cones today, but only if you’ve signed up for DoSomething.org and are between 13 and 25.
