After two years as Metro Kathmandu and not even two weeks as District 5, the restaurant at 311 Divisadero St., adjacent to the Metro Hotel, has changed its name back to the original Metro Cafe. Word is, it was a little close to the name District Wine Bar, and to avoid a 5A5-type legal battle, they went ahead and just changed it back to Metro. Says owner Roshan KC: “Our neighbors liked us as that anyway.”
